A close friend of mine was a young child when an angel appeared to His earthly father, Joseph, and said, "Get up, take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him.” There they stayed, “until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: “Out of Egypt I called my son.”
My friend was then called out of the nation of Egypt to the nation of Israel. There when He had become a man, He started His ministry. A ministry like no other for He was a man like no other. His ministry met many people’s physical needs, but reached far enough to meet the entire universe's spiritual needs!
He saved people from the punishment of their sins by taking the death they deserved upon Himself; only to rise from the dead three days later declaring His victory over sin and death once and for all! Not only that, but as for those He has saved from their sins…..He has changed them from their very core. He and His ministry made water into wine, made five fish and two loaves enough to feed more than five thousand people. Yet, most impressively: He has made former sinners into saints, He has made the former dead now alive, and He has made former children of the devil into Sons of The Living God, among whom I am numbered. Then His followers, those He changed from the inside, were sent out with a specific command and promise.
This was His command and promise, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” My friend gave all of us who follow Him and have been changed by Him the same duty, opportunity, and gift of sharing with others that which we have so graciously received. He also gave us the same promise, “He’ll be with us to the end of the age.” We’ll never be alone! He’ll be there to give us love, protection, and grace! Yet, most importantly He’ll be there to live His life through us!
The only part of this call that differs amongst the followers of my dear friend is the location by which we live it out. Currently, mine is in Nashville Tennessee. In the past, mine was in a small town in Kentucky ("For God is my witness, how I long for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus.") And my next location is a familiar place for my Friend. It’s a Nation where He spent a bit of His childhood, perhaps where He formed His first Human memories. This spring my invisible friend Jesus will live His life through me in Cairo, Egypt.

Also, please please pray for me, as well as my ministry here in Nashville and especially for the souls that need Jesus In Cairo as well.
